I am blessed with an abundance of rose bushes in my yard that give me continuous reference photo opportunities. "Eye and Rose" was modeled after one of those beautiful blooms. Roses teach so much about the process of unfurling; the conditions that nurture its evolution cannot necessarily be witnessed in the moment, but visible over time from dawn to dusk. One may not see growth in the moment, but the rose assures us that despite what we see, changes are always unfolding.
